Size Acceptance Advocacy

The term “size acceptance” has become synonymous with “fat acceptance” but this is not always the case. Size is not just weight, but it is height. And although Huge Comfort primarily features “big” and “tall” merchandise, we are strong advocates of acceptance for people of every size.

In keeping with that belief, Huge Comfort features advocacy websites for big (or more correctly fat), tall and short. Sites featured will relate to not only direct advocacy of size acceptance, but sites that may research the cause of certain extreme size conditions, medical sites related to certain size related issues, and sites that may assist disabled “persons of size”.
From time to time we may also feature “size acceptance advocacy partners” that may be assisting with a size acceptance issue, for example, a group or organization that may be assisting with passing a size friendly law or regulation or a prominent activist or politician who is supporting such legislation.
The owner of Huge Comfort also operates the blog Big and Tall Shorts and is the director of the Universal Network for Size Acceptance community and is a member and supporter of many size acceptance organizations.
